Hello! I am a PhD student in mathematics at Universität Duisburg-Essen, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jochen Heinloth. I am part of the the Essen Seminar for Algebraic Geometry and Arithmetic (ESAGA).
I am interested in algebraic geometry. In particular, my research revolves around understanding the topology of the moduli space of Higgs bundles on a complex curve, in the more general context of the non-abelian Hodge correspondence.
In the summer semester 2026 I am the organizer of the Essen PhD students seminar. We're going to learn Deligne's construction of mixed Hodge structures on complex varieties. See the page of the seminar for more info.
